EMISAFE

Product Name: Chlorfenapyr 5% + Lufenuron 3% ME

PD Number: PD20253941

Scope and method of application:

Crops Targets Dosage Method
Cabbage Beet armyworm 0.6-0.75 L/ha Spray
Label (Chinese)

Product Features:

  1. Two complementary modes of action for Lepidoptera control (including beet armyworm): Chlorfenapyr (pyrrole) is a pro-insecticide that disrupts mitochondrial energy production, delivering strong activity on larvae and difficult populations. Lufenuron (benzoylurea IGR) inhibits chitin synthesis, acting mainly on eggs and molting larvae, improving control across life stages.
  2. Fast knockdown + residual suppression: Chlorfenapyr provides rapid reduction of active larvae, while lufenuron extends control by preventing egg hatch and normal development, helping reduce reinfestation.
  3. Contact and ingestion activity; translaminar penetration rather than “systemic”: This combination works primarily via contact and stomach action, with good leaf penetration in many crops; it should be positioned as translaminar/penetrating, not truly systemic.
  4. ME formulation benefits (performance & handling): The microemulsion (ME) formulation supports fine droplet distribution, fast wetting and spreading, and improved coverage/penetration on leaf surfaces, which can enhance efficacy in field use.
