Product Overview

Bacticlear is a dual-active bactericide/fungicide formulated with oxine-copper and benzisothiazolinone. It provides protective and early curative activity against bacterial and fungal diseases, especially those occurring under humid and rainy conditions.

Oxine-copper forms a protective film on the crop surface to inhibit pathogen germination and invasion, while benzisothiazolinone supports preventive and curative control of bacterial and fungal diseases. The combination is suitable for early-stage disease management and resistance-management programs.

Key Features

  • Dual-active disease control: Combines oxine-copper and benzisothiazolinone for broader and more reliable performance.
  • Protective + early curative activity: Helps prevent infection and suppress early disease development.
  • Strong fit for bacterial disease management: Suitable for diseases such as canker, angular leaf spot, and bacterial shot hole.
  • SC formulation: Easy dilution, good suspension performance, and uniform spray coverage.

Practical Application Reference

In field practice, Bacticlear may be used as a preventive or early-stage treatment for the following disease targets:

Crops Targets Dosage Method
Citrus Citrus canker 1000–1500× dilution Foliar spray
Mango Angular leaf spot 1000–1500× dilution Foliar spray
Cucumber Angular leaf spot; Downy mildew 750–1000× dilution Foliar spray
Pepper Angular leaf spot; Downy mildew 750–1000× dilution Foliar spray
Peach Light occurrence of bacterial shot hole 1000–1500× dilution Foliar spray

For best results, apply preventively or at the early stage of disease development. Ensure thorough and uniform spray coverage, especially on new shoots, young leaves, fruit surfaces, and disease-prone areas.

Application timing: Apply before disease occurrence or at the early stage of disease development. Repeat at 7–10 day intervals, with 2–3 applications in total.
Maximum applications: 3 times per season.

Precautions

  • Do not apply during strong wind or when rainfall is expected within 1 hour.
  • Rotate with fungicides/bactericides of different modes of action to delay resistance development.
  • Avoid eye contact. Wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves, mask, and goggles during mixing and application.
  • Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application. Wash hands, face, and contaminated clothing after use.
  • Do not wash application equipment in rivers, ponds, or other water bodies. Do not discharge leftover spray solution into the environment.
  • Do not use in or near aquaculture areas, ponds, rivers, or other water bodies.
  • Keep away from children, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and sensitized individuals.
